If behavior occurs repeatedly it shows motivation of that behavior.
Motivation requires action
Intrinsic motivation = end in itself, it is its own reward
Extrinsic motivation = for desired consequences during or after behavior
Praise, grades, positive responses
The line between intrinsic and extrinsic is not distinct. There is a lot of
cross over between the two types of motivation.
Intrinsic=Interesting, Relevant, Fun
extrinsic=Praise, money, grades, positive responses
History of success or failure
Expectancy = the degree to which an individual expects to be successful
at the task
Value= intrinsic or extrinsic factor

TASK 5: Intermittent Celebrations
TASK 6: Ratio of Interactions (3:1 ratio) (5:1) Spending 5-10 minutes for a whole week with a student
